Whale Pod Sightsees at Portland Maine

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
A whale pod (probably finback whales) was observed in Casco Bay at Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 around 11 a.m by Norm (Maine Day Trip) and his two guests - Connie & Larry.  It appears that they were also sightseeing and having lunch very close to the coast between Portland Head Light and Ram Island Lighthouse.  When you are in Portland be sure and look for whales, harbor seals and other interesting wildlife.  The lighthouses are nice to look at also!
